(More customer reviews)This is the fourth and best book I've read on the Security+ exam content. It's a little dry, but it includes the subject matter needed to pass the certification exam. It also includes content included in the SSCP, which eases the transition to CISSP. I've met the author, a former Navy rocket scientist, and he is a knowledgeable expert in the subject area. Take a look at the team that put this book together, and you will see more PhDs and Master's degrees than at a Star Trek convention. It's a little light on firewalls, proxy servers, viruses, and VPN, but generally better the competition and worth the money. Unlike some of the other books on the subject, I will be keeping this one as a part of my library.
