(More customer reviews)I had been out of school for 3 years when I finally hit the books for the ARRT. I had this book and the Appleton & Lange Review for Radiography Exam, both written by the same people. I liked this prep book better because it broke each section down into chapters vs. just question and answer. The chapters where really easy to read and understand. Plus they where not so long that you got bored with it. At the end of each chapter there would be essay questions and a few mutiple choice. Writing the essay questions down and then answering them really helped. The only thing that I didn't like was the Postioning chapter, it was alittle hard to follow. Believe me this book works if it helped me pass 3 years after graduating

"The detailed indices at the start of each chapter are an asset and should make using the text for pre-AART exam study that much easier for students. the explanations included in the answer section at the end of each chapter are excellent, as are the chapter exercises prior to multiple choice questions."--James V.
