(More customer reviews)This book contains a bunch of chapters that are each about a different aspect of German culture and history. The chapters are nice and short, so even someone who hasn't had a lot of German could sit down and understand them. There are questions at the end of each reading, which basically check to see if you understood the general idea of the reading. Anyone who wants to learn a little more about German culture and recent history (and has a fairly good understanding of the language) would enjoy this book.
