You will really want to read it. Also it is a pedagocigally sound book. If you need an introductory statistics book, don't hesitate to buy this one. After reading it, you'll be surprised to see that you've learned so many things on statistics.

The authors stress what statistics is used for, with a well organized approach rooted in concrete examples.
