(More customer reviews)I bought this for my boyfriend in Argentina, who wants to move to the US. His English is good, but could be better. This book has tons of articles in English about different parts of America and its culture, very informative! As the person reads, certain important words are translated on the outside margins, so the person doesn't have to look somewhere else in the book... the definitions are right there on the page as you read! And the audio CD helps train the brain to pick up the accent and pronounciation while keeping up with the reading. Highly recommended for non-native speakers looking to improve their English.
