This reference is good, perhaps for an intern in an acute care arena, or for triage personnel. It is lacking, as it gives differential dx's for the indicated illness, however, some of these dx's do not have any further info.
This is a listing of most common ailments seen by ed staff, family practice, and other acute care providers. But is just that, a listing. Most of this info should be able to be recalled by memory, as lab values, and some med doses aren't even explored.
Again, a must for the e.m. novice, but by no means a companion to the seasoned provider.
