Street Law: A Course in Practical Law, Workbook Review

Street Law: A Course in Practical Law, Workbook

This books gives a great overview of law related education. Students are introduced to legal issues in the context of real life. It contains practical information for dealing with various legal problems. Students learn how to write to a member of Congress. This book has a section that allows students to consider and decide the outcome of legal situations. They learn variations in local law and prodedures that focus attention on where the student lives. Over all I would suggest this book as a great training tool for the law related class study.

A Wellness Way of Life Review

A Wellness Way of Life

This book is full of photos and highlighted spots to make learning the information quick and easy. The chapters are set up so that you can read that one without knowing the information for the chapter before, so if you wanted to read about food control without reading the background information on "what wellness is" you can. I needed the book for a class and will keep it around for years (I need to put the information in play when i find some free time). THe information is also up to date. I hope this helped.

Principles of General Chemistry Review

Principles of General Chemistry
Average Reviews:

I've used 3 different General Chemistry books, and this one is the worst I've come across so far. It lacks a detailed, systematic explanation of topics - and then gives practice problems that do not reinforce topics from the text. It is impossible to work the practice problems without consulting another book that explains how to approach that type of problem. Chang has a much better text than this.

Silberberg's "Principles of General Chemistry" offers students the same authoritative topic coverage as its parent text, "Chemistry: The Molecular Nature of Matter and Change". "The Principles" text allows for succinct coverage of content with minimal emphasis on pedagogic learning aids.
