This is a very complete workbook that explains the process of getting all your items together for the lawyers and for you own peace of mind. It contains worksheets for getting everything from the marriage certificate, and childrens birth certificates, to where is the money, stock portfolio, and insurance policies. I really liked the household inventory worksheets. This made dividing up the martial assest easier for me and for my ex-husband and saved us time and lawyer fees too. I think that this is a must have book for the person getting a divorce or for anyone who wants to get their life in some kind of order.

The Divorce Decisions Workbook challenges conventional views of divorce as an emotionally exhausting ordeal or a legal and financial snakepit to be stoically endured. It presents instead the refreshingly sane view that getting organized, tackling practical matters, and giving priority to financial and legal decisions relieves much of the trauma and confusion. And it backs this assertion with dozens of easy-to-use FORM-ulasTM, worksheets that help readers help themselves.

Conflict Resolution Review

Conflict Resolution
Average Reviews:

I found this book to be of tremendous value. Conflict Resolution is an easy to read resource that is full of practical information that can be applied immediately on the job. It is not only a must-have for managers and supervisors, but also an essential resource for anyone who would like to have more effective relationships and live a conflict free life. Daniel Dana writes with a friendly and often humorus style and it is clear that he has a vast knowledge of this topic. He has a great ability to take a complex subject and make it simple and easy to use with specific "how-to" steps, and that really makes this book valuable to me. I have now successfully used the resolution approaches outlined in this book both in my profession as a consultant and trainer, and in a family conflict situation that was causing a lot of pain. Additionally, the ideas in this book have worked for me in both one-on-one conflicts and group conflicts. The bottom line - this works.

Intimate Relationships Review

Intimate Relationships

I had to purchase this book for one of my classes and I thought that I would be receiving some cheesy text about how men are from mars and women are from venus. This book is essentially the exact opposite of that. I would say that almost all of the information provided in the book is useful in my everyday life. It's an easy read, but goes into enough detail to really understand all the issues. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a refreshing read that actually has solid information on intimate relationships. I have taken a whole semester course on the psychology of love and this book covers it all. Well, almost. It's not written as an opinion piece, there is actual research that has gone into this text.

Listening Review

Listening is a good book, especially since there are so few out there on the subject. It is quite out-dated, and is hard to keep the information sorted in an outline form. It was purchased as a required reading for a college level class. As the semester goes on, hopefully the knowledge within this book will become permenant.
